I must tell you my first look at Lise Carruthers' paintings was the biggest "wow" in my artist's life! Some areas of Lise's paintings are covered with pieces of fabric (I guess) which make these still lives so unusual. The composition was so interesting it immediately found place on my wall waiting for its time. It took me whole month to find the courage to create my first painting basing on this photo and here it is:
Photo is from Milano but it reminds me of Warsaw so that's how it's called.
Almost whole painting was done with a little putty knife (exept of orange squares) so it has nice texture. Painted with acrylic, size 20x20 inch.
